Mr. Jack Swanda, formerly Executive Director has been elected to the Board of Directors.

Jack brings leadership skills that he has acquired by service to his church, his employer, and his community. He also brings to SCOLBE, his proven relationship development through marketing, interpersonal and communications. He has a recognizable name in the community to help open doors and connect donors to an organization.

Mr. Swanda wears other hats of service. With PM where he leads workshops and focus groups, communicates complex concepts tailored to each client and organizes and plans relationship-building events. Jack is currently on the air in the afternoon at Christian radio station 100.7 The Fish.

Recently he was involved with Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska where he told the story of Lutheran Family Services in Lutheran Churches across the state. He gave temple talks during sermon time while also leading Bible studies that shared the excitement of seeing God at work. He also has over 20 years experience as a morning radio personality, speaker and emcee.

Mr. Swanda has provided leadership for St. Mark Lutheran Church, Metro Area Youth Foundation, Huntington Park Homeowners Association and Burke High School.

Mr. Swanda has assisted in fundraising by emceeing, hosting or in some way has been involved with the effort of connecting donors and possible donors in the following organizations: American Lung Association-Corporate Cup Run, Arthritis Foundation of Nebraska, Camp Carol Joy Holling, Children's Respite Care Center, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Easter Seals of Nebraska, Fontenelle Forest, Lutheran Family Services, Lutheran Schools of Omaha, Metro Area Youth Foundation Summer Bash for Childhood Cancer, Mosiac of Omaha, Project Harmony, Red Cross and Salvation Army.
